Business Partnerships
The local business community has been very supportive of the work of the Acton-Boxborough United Way over the years.

In these challenging times, however, need has increased while charitable donations have declined. For over 25 years the Acton-Boxborough United Way has been dedicated to helping neighbors in need. We fund food pantries and housing assistance, nutrition programs and care for elders, domestic violence prevention and mental health services. Each agency we fund provides services directly to Acton and Boxborough residents.

If you have a business that serves area residents, we invite you to partner with us to improve the quality of life for our community. We believe your visible support of the Acton Boxborough community will bring more business your way — and do an enormous service to those in need.

Recognition of your support in any of the following categories will be included on this website, in our e-newsletters, and in residential direct mail campaigns:

  1. Sponsorship: At Platinum ($5,000+), Gold ($2,500+) or Silver ($1,000+), your business can sponsor an event, a direct mail piece or e-newsletter.
  2. Employee Workplace Giving Campaign: Start a payroll deduction or an annual contribution campaign for your employees.
  3. Cash Donation: Make a direct corporate contribution.
  4. Goods/Services Donation: Contribute goods and services to be used as residential fundraising incentives.

Contributions of goods and services could be a single item or multiple gift certificates which would be publicized in connection with our residential fundraising campaign and given as incentive gifts to donors in the community.

Other Ways to Help
Many corporations support the United Way through their participation in the United Ways of New England regional campaign for 24 local United Way affiliates, and through their relationship with other United Way organizations in cities and towns in the region.
