Acton-Boxborough United Way Funding Recipients
To effectively distribute funding to meet local health and human service needs, the ABUW conducts a thorough and lengthy review process of each applicant’s financial stability, quality of programs, organizational structure, possible collaborations with other providers, and more. At this time, we have nine categories of care:
• Children & Youth
• Community Impact
• Developmental Disability Support
• Domestic Violence Service
• The Elderly
• Family Counseling
• Health Care — Education & Treatment
• Hunger & Homeless
• Mental Health Services
Listed below are the agencies and organizations who have received funding from the ABUW in recent years. Please click on the categories of care above to find out which ones we are partnering with, and for what programs, during this program year. We encourage you to learn more about the amazing work being done right in our own backyard.
