Caregiver Workshop in Acton - Boxborough

Minuteman Senior Services and Acton-Boxborough United Way are partnering to offer a workshop for family caregivers caring for a relative, a friend or someone with a chronic illness can be stressful physically, emotionally and financially.  

The Powerful Tools for Caregivers six week class is designed to provide family caregivers with the skills they need to take care of themselves.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers will help participants to:

  • Reduce Stress
  • Improve self-confidence
  • Create life balance
  • Better communicate feelings
  • Increase ability to tackle tough decisions
  • Locate helpful resources

There is no fee for participants attending the workshop thanks to grant funding from the Cummings Foundation and Acton-Boxborough United Way.

Workshop Dates: April 27th – June 1st, 2019

Time:  Saturdays, 10:15 am – 12:15 pm, Class meets once per week for 6 weeks
