For students entering 7th to 9th grade, Danny's Place Youth Services, Highrock Acton, and A-B United Way are hosting a free virtual workshop and peer panel at 7PM on Thursday, September 10th.
For students entering Junior High or High School, the start of this new school year is probably a bit more daunting than usual. They are not alone. At this event, students will hear from a panel of peers in grades 8-12. The panelists will share their own perspectives on the transitions that come with returning to school, and pandemic coping strategies. Students will be able to ask questions during the event.
School counselor and mental health practitioner, Kelly Dearing, will also be joining us to share her expertise, including insights on how parents and caregivers can support their children during these transitions.
The fun and interactive workshop will focus on three areas: navigating uncertainties, time management, making and maintaining social connections.
Registration is required to receive a Zoom link. Register HERE.
