On Wednesday, June 18, community members, partners, and friends gathered at the Acton-Boxborough Resource Center for an evening of connection, reflection, and celebration.
Together, we looked back on a year of meaningful impact — from welcoming more than a thousand neighbors through our doors to launching new programs and deepening our partnerships — and looked ahead to what’s next.
One of the most exciting moments of the night was the announcement of our new name:
Acton-Boxborough Community Compass.
This name reflects who we are today: a local organization rooted in community, helping neighbors navigate challenges, find support, and build a stronger Acton and Boxborough together.
Attendees heard moving stories from staff, volunteers, and board members, previewed our strategic direction, and toasted to this next chapter with sparkling cider.
