Malika joined Acton Boxborough United Way as the Director of Community Giving in 2024 after a year of volunteering for the organization. Prior to ABUW she worked at the Union of Concerned Scientists where she led various initiatives during her twelve-year tenure, including designing and overseeing a donor engagement program and an organization-wide impact assessment and learning function.

Malika has nearly twenty years of experience fundraising for organizations focused on social justice, health, and the environment. She has a master’s degree from Tufts University where she studied twentieth century movements for social change. She lives with her husband, son, dog, and two cats in Acton, where she loves visiting the nearby arboretum as often as possible.
